Hey All.

So I ended up having to go junkyard hunting after I had a sudden impact with a large four legged creature (ie. I smoked a deer with the front of my car) and needed to replace my headlight on the drivers side. While looking through the boneyard, I found this mashed up ZX2 over in the corner. The thing that cought my eye were the OEM alloys that were on it, especially since they were 14". (I have a set of snows and summer, and need another set of wheels anyway)

The ones I found are the five spokes in the middle of the page (Item # ALY3245), but Im just using this page for the purpose of the picture.

So, my questions to everyone are:

1. Has anyone put these on a '97-up Escort lx/se? How do they look?
2. What do you guys think a fair price for the four of them are?
3. Are my current brakes gonna look all crappy through the spokes?

Currently I have the stock steel wheels and hubcaps, so it would be quite a change. Also, does anyone know the weight difference between this style wheel and a steel one?

Thanks in advance!

Hey there.

Thanks for the input I think I can score the set of rims for about fifty bucks each, but I dont think they will have any rubber worth keeping. I know at least one tire is shredded, and Im pretty sure one more is flat. I already have a good set of summer tires, so thats not too important to me. I was mostly surprised that Ford made a 5-spoke rim that was 14".

Thanks again.
