If you could find the part numbers to the various ECUs used in the second generation Ford Escorts, that would be awesome.

1996 lx wagon mtx, the metal tube/hose from the thermostat housing to the heater core, I tore the hose, and it looks like the whole part is meant to be changed as an assembly, anybody know the part number or method of replacing the rubber hose?

I own a 1987 Escort GL, four door station wagon, SOHC 1.9L EFI, ATX tranny, PS, PB, without A/C. I'm currently changing the worn out rocker arms w/Sealed Power R-1053 Rocker Arms. The Sealed Power Kit provides a nut for a stud set up, I have the bolt set up. I'm not able to find someone who has the bolts. The bolt in SAE is 5/16 "-20 x 1-7/8 Class 9.8 Flanged Hex Head (8 mm-??thread pitch in mm x 47 to 48 mm in length). Does anybody know the part number from Ford or any other manufacturer so that I can look them up online?

I have a question for you ford dealership guys. I have a 98 Lx 2.0 sohc and needed a new pcv valve tube assembly so I called the guy in parts and he said the new replacement for this did away with the Pcv all together. Is this true?

There are 3 setups for Escorts. If you have the one where the PCV is in the middle, then that one should still be available at dealer. I was able to get mine in 2012. I can check my dealer and get a part number if you'd like.

The top photo in this pic is my setup.

Can you help me find the bolts holding the manual gear shift control rod to the gear shift lever (stick) and the one for the shifter shaft at the tranny to that same end of the gear shift control rod? The middle connection on the gear shift control rod is riveted and I found a kit for it. The only number I have for the bolts at each end of the gear shift control rod is #78366. Isn't this part of the Ford part number?

This site has parts I couldn't find anywhere else_including Ford_if anyone is interested.

They list a bolt holding the shift shaft (from the tranny) to the tranny end of the gear shift control rod (Ford part #F2CZ-7B366-AA). I think this bolt also holds the other end of the gear shift control rod to the shift lever (stick). The nut for this bolt is Ford part #90901-0811 and is supposed to be the same for Mazda. I include the response from my nearest Mazda dealer parts person and appreciate him trying to find parts for me.

Barbara ,sorry it took so long to contact you back.
it seems to have come to a dead end because
there is no vehicle application that I can cross reference the
Ford Escort to a Mazda model. however the parts may fit and
function, I just cannot guarantee the reliability in your application.
the nut part #90901-0811 from Ford is the same as Mazda, and the
bolt F2CZ-7B366-AA does NOT cross into anything Mazda offers
    . I have
contacted all my Ford associates that I know, and get the same response.
that part is obsolete and no longer available. again my apologies for
taking so long on the response to this and I wish that I could have been of
    more
help. call me if you have any other questions

I recently ordered a new EGR valve for my 94LX wagon from rockauto(dot)com. I dont have any idea of the Ford part number though.
