OK, I´m swapping a bad gauge out and want to reset the replacement to match the dead one. Has anyone done this? I´ve got both gauges on the bench, out of their clusters... but before I break down the gauge, I´m looking for ´the right way´ to do it. Anyone done it?

you can simply take out the rolling numbers and swap them, they wont move or accidently change the mileage but you can directly swap them

OK, but how? Looking at the back of the speedo, I don´t see the steps to do it right. I don´t want to mangle or otherwise damage the thing. Details, please!
