Anyone esle (besides me) In the northwestern part of the lower Pen. of michigan???
i'm not from up there but once my car is running i'll be up there on the fun roads ocassionally... plus i go up to cadillac and traverse ocassionally just cause it is nice up there
Cool, we'll have to meet someday. Thier are several "fun" roads within 1hour of me
I can't wait for ot too warm up (till most of the snow is gone) so I can do a J/Y run to the JY that's like 1/2 mile from my current location. (And I have VERY good relations with the owners)
nice.... with our cars having good relations with j/y owners is a great idea, helps to find those hard to get parts for cheaper and maybe stock up on parts for the future
The bad part is that it is a VERY small JY , and It only has a few scorts I'll be looking for GT sedans when the snow melts off them (it's a non-plowed one) and the wagons tail gates have been picked apart by my dad for the "redneck scort"
The proper names for those would be the Ford Escort LXE or the Mercury Tracer LTS.
I'm down here in Westland, about 10 miles west of Detroit. Myself and some other MI ZX2 owners over on www.teamzx2.com are thinking of having an Escort meet sometime in June if you feel like joining us, check the Michigan Meet thread in this section for info.
Oh yeah, Westland. I have alot of family over in Livonia. But the Westland mall is way better than Wonderland.
My cousin in Livonia has a green ZX2 that's sat in a parking lot for like 5 years now. I got to get him to make that thing run again.
I don't know if you know but Wonderland doesn't exist anymore, they tore it down. Where Wonderland used to be, there's a Walmart Supercenter and a few strip malls.
Oh, I know. The people in Livonia tried to stop walmart from moving in there. Too bad it didn't work.
They call it wonderland center or something now. I liked the old mall with Monkey Wards and Dunhams.
Westland Mall is pretty good, I only live about a 1/2 mile from it. But I'd have to say that Great Lakes Crossing is the best around.
I only have 1 reason to goto great lakes crossing, and thats to goto the arcade
it's nice to "site see" around GLC also
WEll her's an idea what about doing a cherry festivle cruise night?
im here in mt. pleasant, home town of ann arbor though
