one day, while i was driving in the ´88 buick electra.... i was driving i dunno 65-70 mph done i79....and i see this little red vw gti coming up on me very fast...so, i say, alright go ahead....he passed me doing something like 80...and i saw the ricer exhaust, and heard it, so i said....HELL NO!, i stomped on the gas and took off right as he just past me....i was flying right past him....i couldn´t tell exactly how fast i was going i mean it maxs out at 85....so, we´re flying side by side,and i´m gaining ground on him.....inch by inch....foot by foot.....i look in my mirror, and see him shaking his head....i just keep going, i ended up weaving, and since it´s a scary thing to weave a buick luxury car in thru traffic, so eventually i slowed down...and he slowed down....good race....
next, it was i dunno 12:00pm....i was coming home from robinson.....and i was coming up on the neville island bridge, i noticed a 528() coming down the on ramp.....so, i just keep going i´m downing maybe 70 with the t-tops off....i look over and see that the bimmer flew past me....so i said.....can´t stand for it.....(i´m in a nissan 300zx)...i floored it....i didn´t start gaining ground til maybe 100mph...i started gaining, gaining,gaining, and than i hit 125, and just rapidly gaining ground on him.....i look over as i start to pass him....than he must have let off, and just lost him in my rear view mirror....
another time i was coming home in the 300zx, and i got stuck behind a chevy blazer....it was pretty good....i was tailing him, and he took off.....as he took off, i laughed.....and let him get maybe 1/2mile down the road.......i floored it, i caught up to him, weaved into the far slow lane, and past him and someone else.....i slowed down, as i slowed down he past me.......so we volley´d for a while.....than we hit the bridge, and he was infront of me, i got into the slow lane, it was the most open lane.....i punched it........he punched it, he was a good 10 yards or more ahead of me, i started flying down this bridge, and finally showed him what was up.....by the end of the bridge i was doing maybe 100...and he was still coming to the 1/2 way point...............
alright and i´m not going to say this in whole.......but i raced a 318i and we were doing in 120 mph +/-....it took us 3-4 mins from robinson to sewickley, and it´s normally a 10-15 min drive...
