Found these at walmart modified and screwed on no more drinks on my lap or floor.

why would you do that, when the car came with cupholders? why dont you just stick a peice of hose into the can, sit it in the cupholder, and just suck on it while driving, better ye, just buy a soda drink hat!

The answer is because the cupholders arent big enough or have enough room around them. A large milkshake from Whattaburger for instance. Also, we often have the GPS sitting down there..

I'm not too sure about screwing a cup holder to my door but something like that sure would be an improvement.

You do know that if you remove the blakc piece, the inside cup holder is slightly larger.

With the cup holder size you show, you would probably also need something connected to your pennis to prevent constant stops for bathroom breaks.

Come on guy's, we all know 2nd gen cup holders are worthless. Unless you only plan on using them when in park.

I'm thinking about adding some real cub holders besides the stock ones. On the doors would be OK, but if you slam the door with a drink in there it's gonna go all over your interior.


The only cup holders that are worse then Escort cup holders are the ones they tried to pass off as cup holders on the glove box door's (on the inside when the glove box door was down). They had a little indent circle for the beverage to sit in, but not for long. Saw a lot of these in the 80's.
