Does anyone know if there is a turbo out there for a 98 escort lx?

I see that most you out there have 93 and below. Will me having a newer model Cort make it more difficult to find a turbo?

I would say talk to pimp scort 98 or blade. Pimps a ford mechanic and blades got boost on his 2nd gen. But as far as I know there is no turbo kit for any escort out there, especially lx´s. Thats all custom work. One of those two should tell what you need to get the job done. They know their s$#t.

Turbo´s are universal. It´s just finding the right size. I thinkin a vj 11? ask blade.

turbos are but not manifolds.

Blade has a IHI RHB5 VJ20 Turbocharger on his car. along with a custom wastegate and a bunch of other goodies that make his car go vroom vroom faster than ours. Yeah, I do drool when I read his car mod journal, I admit it. :-D

Not sure what manifold would allow you to add a turbo to your 2.0L engine.

Does anybody know?

Ford EXP. Eather 1.6 or 1.9L. But good luck finding one. I missed one myself. I hopped that next time I come it´ll be in place...Well car was already gone and crushed. :-[
