First off let me say i love the forum in the two days ive been looking through it ive learned so much about my car.. well what i have is a 1991 Escort gt its for the most part stock except its been lowered and has a cat back exhaust and the stock wheels have been painted black. once i figure out how to post some pictures i will and you guys can tell me what you think.

Welcome! I too have a '91 EGT. I bought it new and still have it. Great little car.
yeah so far driving it i love it it runs great and will actually outrun most of the hondas and other tuners around here. i raced a b18 integra the other night and stomped it. i do have a question for yall though the guy before me cut the springs and it rode so low that he cracked the factory front and rear gt bumpers. do any of yall know any place or person i can get the gt bumpers from? i hate the lx ones haha

the bumpers are getting hard to find... you probably should buy some actual lowering springs, cut springs are a bad idea all around.

I could have given you a broken rear bumper. I got rear ended a few weeks ago.

i dont have it anymore the guy never gave it to me but im sure i could get ahold of it. i have looked at almost 200 yards and i finally found one but its 150 miles from here so i really dont want to drive that far. and i'm located in mcdonough ga which is about 30 min south of atlanta. my plan for this weekend is to get the new lowering springs for it as well as start fabbing a cold air intake. the next thing is all new brakes and a new master cylinder as well as the bronzoil shifter bushings..
