I am starting a little rally car project. Here is a picture of the new light bar that we built with lights. Let me know what you think.

thats cool. what kind of rallying are you planning on doing?? are you like actually going into the woods at night and stuff?? how does the road look like at night with those lights on??

Well i am going to school up in eastern Idaho and my parents just moved to Montana so I will now be out there. I just got the lights on it yesterday but from what i have tried so far it is almost like driving in daylight. 400 watts will do that for you.

I think pushing 400w just to those lights alone you may need to do an alternator upgrade. cause I bet you anything you aren't getting the full 100w out of any of those bulbs. If you're in the puget sound area we should meet up and I can take you to a logging road near north bend. that's where I do all my "rally"ing.

Yeah I am looking into a new alternator upgrade, any suggestions? I am leaving for montana on monday... but if i was not i would take you up on that north bend invite.

Haven't a clue. I just got back into the escort game, and I really don't know what options the 3rd gens have.
