It´s actually a pretty funny story how I got those headlight covers...it was December and I was working 3rd shift and wanted some light on my drive to and from Meijer (obviously, at night) so I went into Autozone and ordered "headlight covers..." well when I got them they were just those darkened AVS covers...what I wanted was the headlight assembly itself. I knew 45 bucks was cheap for the assemblies. Well I went back to autozone and ordered the headlight assemblies...300 bucks for the set!!!!!!! If I knew I could do the E36 conversion I would have just done that, for 75/each, I could have saved myself $150! Anyway, I just started using them during the day. I think they make my car look freakin´ awesome too. with those HID driving lamps I can keep them on at night now and still have light to drive. I didn´t actually tint the windows in my car, when I bought it in November 2001 they were already like that. I LOVE it. I also love my AVS rain guards. 45 bucks for the front set as well. I do wish I had a black GT cause then I´d keep the headlight covers on, tint the windows black and put some 16" black rims on there. I just need to get rid of that rust. one of these days I´ll get a power grinder and grind it down to the good metal, then if I can find one, spot weld a new piece of sheetmetal on it, bondo, sand, primer, sand, paint, stand back and smile :-] That´ll be great. She´s coming along and I hope I can keep this car forever so I can fix her up to my hearts content. I know eventually that I´m going to want/be able to afford a Camaro, but everyone else has two cars...why can´t I?? ;-)
