hey im new to this site, new to fords, not new to cars, i have a 94 escort lx 1.9 with 100xxx on it i put a new clutch in it a few day ago, i filled it up today and noticed when i push the clutch to the floor the parking break and the fuel cutoff light come on, i got it home and shut it off, went back later and tried to start it but it would only click, when the clutch is down those two lights come on. i have fuel pressure up to the rail and through the injectors and i can here the pump prime fine, the inertia switch is not tripped either but i noticed the white switch under the clutch when i push the button those lights come on. need some help here thanks

I havent any insight into the problem. You may need to spend time looking over the wiring diagrams for the car. They would be in the Electrical and Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual for your car. Get one for the same year your car is, as not all of the cars were the same - there were slight differences from year to year. I got mine on ebay, for maybe $25, and it paid for itself the first time I had to figure out what was going on with the car.

Do you know if your car ever had an aftermarket burglar alarm added to it? The can do strange things if they arent removed properly and entirely.
