ok, guys as summer is coming upon us I feel we should have another gathering....of more than just a couple of us....hopefully...anyways...looking for a date and place for the month of June....

I would not mind hosting it again as I know of some fun driving and entertainment around here....but it would be terribly unfair of me to sit here and plan something out where everyone else has to drive....sooooo...I ask that anyone else who feels like hosting the event near them please step forward and let yourself be known

    thanks
    Mike

Ok back on topic you do not want me hosting one b/c lets face it there is nothing here where i live. also i have never been to a meet so i have no clue on how one goes.

Why don't we just meet up in Memphis somewhere and take it from there. with nobody hosting I mean we are just going to cruise and meet right?

you could say that...I was hopeful that someone would want one closer to them so I left the place and date open....but I may get to hold one here again in July since due to events in the Army portion of my employment the month of June is gone for me

When the need is there, start driving the rural farm country. That's where I find 90% of my cars and bikes. And about 75% of the time they're just given to me. Just some advice from someone who goes through DT's when I don't have a project. :D

tell ya what Jeremiah...the 323 seems fairly sound chassis wise...but could be something sweet....and prob almost as light as the Festiva....it may be of interest to ya for a project......I would myself....but still do not have the shop built and my wife would prob kill me right now....lol.....

Oh I want this car!!!!!! If you are really giving up on it I am deffinately down to get it. If you are looking to get rid of it how much you looking to get out of it? I have always wanted to get a 323 but could never find one. Oh and I dont know if this matters but I will not be back in Arkansas until October so getting the car out of your hair isnt going to be so quick. Let me know. Thank you Jeremiah

Mike this does sound like a good project to pick up on. Im thinking a long the lines of BPT or just a BP for starters. Either way I have a mock up motor and trans in my garage waiting to get things rolling.

wellman, check this out...I should by the time you get back be able to help you out with a bp setup ass I should by then be able to have the front cut sent in that I am sourcing out for my special project on the scort

if all goes as planned I will be able to handle the complete swap as far as parts go...esp being I should have my shop up by then so I can do the work on mine and free up the parts

well I have found the problem with it it was the plug wires There is no spark from them The Fuel injectors work fine and i get spark from the coil so It has to be from Dist to plug wires. the plugs are brand new so i do not think it is the plugs so hope is not lost yet. but when i make my final decision you will be the first. .. but if it runs i will keep it B/C its paid for.
