I gotta get down to business pretty quickly since I'm having problems with my car and need help quick, so here it is...

I have a 1992 cream-colored Ford Escort LX with the 1.9 and automatic. It's a station wagon. It's got 615xxx miles on it and is in relatively decent condition. Got it for 300. YAY ME!

I look forward to being one of the many Escort owners out there... at least for a while.

Hello new member here I own a 1995 Mercury Tracer Trio 1.9 5 speed, I tired to find Mercury Tracer forums but no luck, is there really any difference between the tracer vs the escort? as far as drivetrain mechanics etc? I look forward to participating in the forum thanks.

You can just go to Escort Generation 2 1.9 L and you'll find almost EVERY quesiton pertains equally to both; just be sure to identify each question wiht you "Tracer 1995 5spd info" when you ask.
