Hello everyone, my name is Pete, and i live in South Dakota. I am in the Air Force out here and hopefully will be re-locating back to WV in the next few months. Anyways, i purchased an 89 EGT last year as my daily driver, she isnt the prettiest car, but i love it. I have had quite a bit of general maint. done on it recently, some by my choice, some by the cars choice! I love it though, i just hit 118K, it doesnt burn oil, runs fairly strong, and gets an average of about 33 mpg. Anyways, i have been following this site ever since i bought the car, and man is there a lot of info on here! I look forward to having this escort for a long time and slowly but surely fix it up to original condition. Keep the info coming!
