Hey everyone,my name is Jason and I live near Macon,Ga. I just registered on this site and appreciate the membership.I will become a paid member ASAP !
I own a 95 LX 2 dr.hatch with a freshly shredded timing belt and I just today drove home a 93 wagon with a 5 speed and the same 1.9.
I actually like the wagon better.I was considering stripping the 95 of all the parts I could use on the wagon. The LX has the common GT style 14" wheels and the wagon has 13" steelies.I like the 14s.Although,they will need to be blasted and restored.
Can I use the 95 front clip and hood on the 93 wagon? I would also like to use the A/C comp.but I think the LX would be a 134A system and the 93 is probably R12.
I have to say this is a pretty good club site so far.I'm also a member of the K car club. It's kinda bland.Don't laugh.I own an 88 two door,5 speed Aries.Turns out it's a really rare car.But enough Mopar talk I love Fords! I've owned them and I've sold them for a living.I am also very proud of Ford for not bending over for the government ! if I ever get to the point where I can buy a new car I know what it will be.Well I guess I'm done. Thanks everybody.

welcome! yes you can swap the hood and front bumper. Are you planning on fixing the 95 or did you buy the 93 to replace it?

I plan on keeping the wagon and stripping the LX.
I think the LX might have been flooded at some point. It has office type carpet in it and the seat legs have surface rust. But,the title is clean.
It's odd that I wound up here this is my third Escort.I've also owned a 00 ZX2.Cool car.I really dig early models and rare ones. There's a nice EXP on ebay motors right now.
I plan to keep the wagon and my 88 Aries coupe since it's so rare. Most folks have never seen a 5 speed Aries coupe.I hadn't till I bought this one.
