I´m going to buy a new engine for Scorty.
And I have been surfing the net for different engines.
I found Mountune they have a 220, 250 and 280 engines.
I was thinking of buying the 220bhp Mountune I4 Ford Duratec HE engine.
So heres my question to you.
Are there anybody here who have experience with Mountune?
Or anyone who has heard anything about them.

I don´t know anything about their engines.. am just looking them up for the first time right now.

Be sure, before buying a race engine, that you don´t need race gas. Nothing worse than installing an engine and never being able to wander far from a racegas pump.

Wow:
220hp -> £ 3,260.00
250hp -> £ 6,249.00
280hp -> £10,410.00

That´s $5134, $9842 and $16395 respectfully. :-o

Still cheaper than the next closest 280hp new car, but those short intake horns are for high rpm use and would probably make life miserable in a USA traffic jam as they balk and sputter. :-] Still.. it would probably be worth it. :-]

not to bad considering it includes install and dyno tune. I´d see if you can get the bare engine and install it yourself. probably save a good amount of cash.

Not bad at all, I have a fall issue of Super Chevy here....you can get an LT1 Chevy 383 long block with 480 hp for $6500 bucks. Which include the heads, roller cam, TB, custom computer mod, and adjustable fuel pressure regulator. ;-)
