When it comes to keying the dizzy to the cam, the worst you can do is be 180* off. You will know immediately on start-up if off. I would mark the original location of dizzy on the head and the position of rotor before removal and just put back in that position.

kind of hard to do since it only goes in one way, unless you are a complete idiot and mega force it in 180 out. And you wont know on start up because it wont start.
