Well today I got a wild hair up my ass and decided to go look at new cars. I pretty much knew I wanted a Ford something cheap reliable good on gas and a little sporty. Well I was originally looking for a used zx2 escort with 5spd. I only found 2 used ones both were auto´s. The guy at the used ford dealership said i could get you a great deal on a new one in 5 spd. So I was like ok ill see what he has to offer me and I can say no if I want to. Well He had 2 2003 zx2´s in 5spd a blue one and a silver one. I picked the silver one due to the fact that it is easier to clean then the blue one and i didnt like the tan interior of the blue one. Well he ended up knocking 3000 off the sticker price which was 14000 so i ended up at 11000. He offered me 3000 for my 1995 ranger with 100000 miles on it and I eagerly excepted seeing how I only owe 5000 on it and I am getting blow by from the head up into the intake, the tranny is overdue for a rebuild the suspension is shot due to the fact that I lowered it and although the body is staight many panels have been replaced and painted except for like 3 and it just dont look good with several newly painted body panels and the rest are 8 years old. So that knocked the price of the car back up to 13000 at 8% apr which puts my payments lower than the ones i was making on the ranger and insurance is cheaper so i think i did pretty good. Let me know what you guys think.
