Does anyone know where I can find new cam gears???? Or what size my 94 GT has??? I don´t know anything about cams, only that mine squeal really bad after I downshift into a lower gear after going fast. After I downshift, when I accelerate from 2k-3k I get a really horrible squeal. I know its my cams because I opened the covering and reved it and heard that insane sound. Can someone help????

if your cams are making that much noise you either aren´t getting any oil up there, or its actually a valve going nuts.

cam gears wont help your prob, however I think AEM makes cam gears...or check Venom´s site I think they do too....maybe Unothodox.

I´m pretty sure that it´s Unorthodox and if you go to nopionline.com they should have them for the 2nd gen EGT. Only problem is they´re like between 200 and 400 dollars for the two gears.

Yeah cause if I downshift at the slowest possible speed then it won´t do it but if I downshift from 2nd to 1st goin like 35 then it does it. So do I have a leak in one of my valves or what???

you making sure to double clutch?

usually I hear a noise going into the first but its tranny....not head. It makes no sense for this thing to make noise going into first only if its the motor. Remember the motor has no idea what gear its in...just how many revs it has.

I think you might just need to do a flush and fill on your trannny fluid.
