I just picked up a GT Bumper for my 93 LX, only problem is that the bumper is dark blue and my car is red.

Questions.

1. I dont want to spend a lot of money, if i sanded it, primed it, then painted it red (close a match as possible) will it look bad.

2. It might look better if I painted it matt black and stuck it on, would this look bad?

and a somewhat unrealated question, if i wanted to paint my whole car, i sanded it down a little, rented a spray gun, sprayed it with a primer, couple of coats, then put on the paint, then the sealer of whatever, just how unproffesional would it look?

can you put up a pic of how your car looks right now? i mean what shade of red is the car and all.

and the end result of your paint job depends on what paint you use and how good you are at painting. i had used rustoliums gloss black on my old 96 and it looked almost like a pro job.......
