    Stock is an IHI RHB5 VC31 8304

There's a lot of "compatible" IHIs out there but they're not usually the right configuration between physical dimensions and compressor/turbine wheel combos. I have a chart on them somewhere.....
But most are no longer available and I don't think any are ball bearing.

I'm also after a similar-sized ball bearing turbo for my 1.9 Turbo, it's a brand new motor that was build ground-up completely from NOS parts - even the turbocharger!! But I want to replace the stock manifold and stock turbo setup with something better flowing of my own design and a more common turbo with modern construction (with ball bearings) so it's more reliable and easier to source. So eventually I'll be selling my NOS turbo, manifold, and a few other goodies.

Anyhow, since I have 2 stock turbo manifolds I will be modifying the ugliest one to work with a more modern turbo (probably T3 style) because the biggest issue with the stock manifold is it really only fits the 1 stock turbo :/
That's something you might have to consider unless you're fine with a Euro Escort RS Turbo (T3 style) or an aftermarket setup.

Uugghhh on well I dont plan on racing it or anything I just want a clean 85 gt turbo and keep it as stick as possible but would like to go ball bearing but oh well I'll look to see what it will cost to rebuild lol...uugghh

I remember that video he he on a different note , when removing the turbo from this 85 gt turbo so I need to remove the turbo manifold or can I just unbolt it from the manifold and leave it all intact?
