I need to get one from the junkyard, but I would imagine that this is not going to be that easy to find...i dont want to have to pay hundreds of dollars just to get a new one

I am open to other possibilities such as

86-88GT front bumper cover but i doubt that would work would it?

plain jane LX bumper....i care about my wallet not fog lamps....

cut a portion of an lx bumper off...use an adhesive then throw a bra over the damaged portion (which is totally missing below the right headlight to the tire)

I went to a junk yard, Ecology to be exact, and I got my GT front bumper for like 30-35 bux. Only had a couple scratches, no cracks. They are easy to take off too. only like 6-8 bolts, then it slides right off. I have a bumper cover from an eirler Escort if you decide you want to go that rout. I didn´t use it because there were too many mods to be done to make it work. So my suggestion would be to look in a junk yard. I was amazed at how mant 1st gen GT´s were in the yard I went to. I saw probably 6-7, but only 2-3 had decent bumpers. So keep looking, your bound to find one somewhere.

i just posted an additional question for you, but it didnt make it ....basically I wanted to know if the 86-88 bumper cover would work to? or am i limited to the 88.5-90?

I am also thinking of taking the entire bumper with the cover cause it is cheap enough at the u pull here...do you know if the 86-88 could work
