    Howdy, fellas!
I'm nearby in Winston-Salem. My daily driver is a '95 Escort wagon, 5 speed, 1.9 L engine. It's been a hell of a dependable car. Getting ready to swap the head gasket and clean it up.

Let me know what you're doing and if you're out hunting parts. Might be able to help.

Hey i just got connected with this forum, just moved down from wisconsin and now i'm in Greensboro.

    Driving a green (and rust) 95 LX 2dr hatch, 5sp 180~ k.

Lots of good 'scorts in the Greensboro Auto Parts (now LKQ) yard, blown away at how nice all the junkyard cars are down here... dont see that in wisconsin!

I love the sporty hatch and being able to haul huge stuff in the back. might upgrayyd to a wagon, eventually want to build one of these to run off CNG using MegaSquirt.

Yeah, most of our stuff is still in good condition when it hits the yard.
My '95 4 door wagon is just shy of 300,000. It needs some love right now, but that's on the list with countless other chores to-do. It works well as the music ride, lugging gear back & forth to gigs.

CNG sounds interesting. Can't say I'd know where to find ample access, but if it works for you, do it. My motor is wore out and still manages maybe 27-28 mpg.

Well I know this thread has been dead for a little bit but if anyone gets notified and would like to try to piece together a meet up that would be cool. I'm near the Greensboro area and i'm pushing a 93 EGT w/ short ram intake, MSD coil, NGK plugs/wires and more stuff in the works. Been trying to find someone close thats familiar with the EGTs or rather the 1.8L BP engine. I'd love to be able to learn how to do engine swaps and transmission work to my car. So IF anyone is still out there, hmu..I think it would be hella cool to see a bunch of different generation escorts cruising down and owning the streets. People wouldnt have any choice but to look lol
