Hey Everybody! I´m pumped about this meet in Dallas/Ft. Worth next year!!!! No dates have been set yet, but you can keep up to date with all the details at http://nem2003.tripod.com . I´ll be there and hope to see all of you. Also, you can keep up to date with the info for it on the www.escortracing.com message boards as well!!!!

hey, it would due me alot of good if you could keep posting info here, and maybe give me an idea of how long of a drive it would be from PA to texas??? like what 1-2 days???

maybe i can get my car sorted, and save some money during winter to spend a week there or something, who knows

I´ve already registered and sent my fee in for the meet. Aaron Levy is a very helpful in getting setup for the show. He has posted my Scort on their attendance page. June 26th-30th, 2003 is when its going to be. I´ve already got my vacation logged down for that week and hopefully I will see my fellow F.E.O.A. brothers and sisters there too!! The fee is only 10.00 to get in. It´s not that much money for hanging out with whole bunch of Scort drivers and Rice haters!!

The date on the website is wrong. It shows June 26th-30th and I received an email from Aaron telling me its the 20th-24th. The website hasn´t been updated but I have mentioned to Aaron about this. Many people are checking the website and seeing the wrong date and if people go by that, nobodies going to be at the show....it will be over by then. I have posted the same message on ERDT´s website also.

So I just met this girl....she´s Gorgious, she´s into racing, have a fixed up import, and is moving to Houston in a month. YEAH count me in. It will give me an excuse to visit her :-D

I checked on yahoo driving directions and from PA to TX it would be about 23 hours. But, that´s if you drove nonstop, which would be nearly impossible for most people, so it would be more like two days.

I probably won´t be able to make it. However, I will try to make it to the carlisle show in march. Hope some of you PA scort owners can make it.

Hell I wouldn´t mind doing something like this for FEOA. But we could never find a central place to meet. Its been discussed some many times the past but nothing ever came through. I mean the NEM is all Escort alike and Escort clubs too. I can say this could be a start for FEOA to start having get togethers. If we can meet together at least get local areas together like southeast, northeast, midwest, southwest..and so on. Have small meetings like that. The problem with alot of people is time off and money. Getting scheduals together for everybody to meet is a big thing. It would have to be a set date like the NEM show. Either a weekend, a few days or even a whole week; would be a great way to meet. The reason I´m going to the NEM is b/c I´m only 5 hours away and it works out great. I have a friend to stay with..so no hotel and I can see my family too (hopefully). But if it was in Washington state, New York or even Frisco I would be able to make it. If there is any meet at all...it will have to be a local one for people who are willing to travel some.

I wasn´t baggin on anybody wanting to go I was just wishing people as a whole would get more involved in FEOA.

that would be a 2 1/2 week road trip (including the way back) for me. kinda nasty for just a meet, but who knows...i´m thinkin an 8 hour trip to calgary in the next province is gunna be long

egtdude if i was any more involved with FEOA we´d be married and I´d never actually go home :-] If we had a meet that was a great central location I´d happily go. hell St louis, for example, is only 8 hours away from me and as close to a "central" meet as you can possibly get in the states.

hey 2egt´s, what show is in carlisle, i would consider going to that, is it just scorts or is it a big show?. and also i was just down to myrtle beach last summer, wow what a brutal ride 10 hrs down I-95. when i got out of the car it felt like i ran 500 miles at bristol. i could not imagine going all the way to texas. it would be fun, but long brutal drive, scort ain´t exactly a caddy ya know. sure don´t ride like one. everybody lives everywhere. i seen a post from the uk yesterday. imagine the trip to texas from there :-D
