I am re-doing a 92 EGT 5 speed. The shifter has what can best be described as a little extra play, which my son refers to as a "mystery shifter". What has to be done to make it feel more crisp???
You can replace the shifter bushings with either bronze oil or polyurethane ones and that should tighten it up. Check out zxtuner.com and corksport.com.
