The zELX

Funny you should ask that......

The last people to own it registered it as an LX-E for some reason.
So I think i´m too lazy to go down to the DMV and re-register it as an LX....so I´ll just swap the engine.....lol

but the suicide doors are on the drawing board right now....

First the car is going on the road with shaved stock position doors and engine this year.
Next year is the suicide and 1.8l

The zELX

I grafted the ELX and ZX2 fenders together (no pic yet) so the doors line up perfectly.

Well I got the roof done and the fenders done now.
Working on the trunk right now

Roof tacked on with a trial fit of the rear glass to make sure all my X specs are all there.

Roof Done....and the fenders are done

And this is the way my trunk was a couple of days ago............it's a bit different now ;-)

i'm sinking a band of 5-10 White LEDs into the black section of each of the outer tails

I was thinking of doing the rear suicides also...but not right yet.
That car is actually stock....a few back in the 40's and 50's came like that.
And what is wrong with doing the frenched plate????

Yeah...here is an update as of tonight. (23/05/03)

Here is the Z end that has the emblem recess shaved

I have 2 more doors in process right now that will be done tommorrow.

The front end is now fully done....as are the 2 passenger doors and the rear drivers door.
All I have to do now is finish the rockers and put the 94 EGT skirts on.

All the body work should be done by this weekend
