I've had my 98 lx for a year now and it has run great until lately...
in the lower rpms- (1500-2000) it feels like my tranny, well... stutters. It'll cut out for afraction of second. I actually lose acceleration and you can really feel it in the clutch pedal. it'll do that abou 4-6 times untill I get around 2500-3000 rpm at which point it stops entirely. It hasn't ever actually killed my car or lasted for any longer than half a second... but I fear it signals trouble ahead. so Having little experience (especially with transmission work) i figured someone here might know what the hell is wrong with my car?

it could be clutch shudder which my mazda did but i had a bad clutch...if the surface of the clutch is crappy and when its getting engaged at those lower rpms and you feel it in the pedal it could easily be the clutch...but then again it could be the engine and your just fealing the vibration of it bucking in your foot

~3000 is where it switches from lean burn to regular burn, It might have something to do with a sensor and making it run to lean? :?
