Model that is... I picked this up from someone on eBay, already put together. I liked the look of it, so I couldn't resist. The mirrors fell off in transit, so I will have to put them back on. Other than that though, it looks pretty nice:

sure, post it up! I am planning on going out this weekend, and picking up a model to start working on. Would love to find a 1st gen Escort/EXP, since they never made a 2nd or 3rd gen model for us.

hehehe, yeah... old school!

I stopped out at the store today, and picked up a model to try to build. It's the 68 Mustang GT from the movie "Bullitt" with Steve McQueen. We'll see how it turns out.

yeah it's a frogeye. It's an 82, the first year. The Turbo is aftermarket, a Banks. I would have to go dig it up and unwrap it, take a picture, wrap it back up and put it away, put the SD into the printer, host it on imageshack, and create the post with the link. Why would I do that? I don't even like you guys.

I have a number of 80s Mustangs, but I have a big 1/18 64.5 that I took great care with, painted the body which I did not do on lesser models, looks real!

Oops looks like a little storage damage. I built this baby in the 80s. I used metal springs from a ballpoint pen for rear springs. It did work but now the plastic is borked and the wheels are wonky as a result. Ya my couch is leatha don't hate the playa hate the game.

I'd like to post all my models in a model show off thread so we can all do it!

I guess. 79-80 ish 2.3 ohc Turbo Muntags were blothru. The later 84-84 Turbo GTs were not.

I hope to get around to all the picture taking soon, than I'll start the thread unless someone else does first. It's a big hosting chore.

I do think mine was an MPC. If not it was an AMT, but I lean heavily toward MPC. Almost all of mine were from those two.
