Here´s some pics of my vinyl´d tails. I´m not gonna say how I did the bulbs so that they are still legal, but if you think hard enough you´ll figure it out. On the second pic the flash went off on my camera, it´s raining, and I haven´t washed the car in like a month or so. That is why they are so much whiter than the paint. I used the same vinyl on my headlights so I know it will match once I clean the car. Enjoy.

Actually I was gonna do the brakelights like that, but it didn´t work out. I did it a different way but I can´t tell for a while hehe.

Looks nice, but to be brutally honest, I don´t think that any sort of minor modification of the stock tail lights can really improve the outdated and economical look of the escort...

Does anybody know of a way to mold plastics to shapes? I know that sounds kinda vague, but...

and my guess is that he used the reverse lights as blinkers. Looks pretty nice. Nice clean work is always a plus.

In all seriousness, I like the shape of the stock 2nd gen tailights, especially on hatchbacks.
What Mike´s done to his is creative, it´s custom, and it´s cool. Not outdated or economical!

that´s what i was thinkin, but what if he wanted to signal and reverse at the same time? as rare as the occasion would be i guess...
