Well, I took my car to get the exhaust leak fixed, my flexpipe along with the gaskets had bit the dust. However everything else in my exhaust system is looking good. Runs/feels noticeably smoother now. It's a beautiful thing. No longer sounds like a weed whacker. Suhweeet...

Good job.Yeah those flex pipes tend to go out after a few years.I just wish exhaust shops would sell you pipes that would last the same amount of time as the ones that came with your car.

haha yeah the shop that did it for me, apparently covers it up to a year..... so either i try and make it last as long as possible, or, i try and burn/eat/rust a hole through it in under a year....

oh by the way.... while i was at it, i had them give me a price quote of a cat-back exhaust, and at the same place i just got this done at, they will do it for $450. i checked another place, they said $375. and i checked some place in detroit, they said for some reason they had it listed as having 2 exhaust pipes.... i'm like "dude... it's a 4cyl....." and he said it would cost about $225..... which seems really odd. so idk..... but idk. my exhaust looked like it was doin pretty good when i looked at it on the hoist, my dad says he gives it about another year or so. but idk. i guess people on here have made their own for the GT's???? how much would that cost, and what would i need. because if i can't get ahold of the tools/materials through friends, i can get it through the fab lab at my school.

why don't you just get the 2.25" mandrel pacesetter cat-back?

cheaper and probably better as I bet the exhaust shop will give you crush bends rather than mandrel.
