Figured I'd go ahead and post some pictures of how it sits now.

I'm going to paint the other half of the tire lettering eventually, but this is the most accurate current picture.

Here are a couple from before I painted the tires at all, taken just after installing my mudflaps:

(That rear mudflap isn't as slanted as it is in the picture anymore. I accidentally installed it at an angle (hard to keep things straight when the car is on a jack) but it's good now.)

By the way, please keep politics out of this. Yes, I have campaign stickers on my car, but that doesn't mean I feel like getting into a pointless debate on the internet. (And those stickers are removable and will come off shortly after the election, so don't worry about residue or anything.)

Welcome. So fresh and so clean. Where are you located for it to be so rust-free ?

Your garage interior looks about like mine in Virginia - barely room to stand and no room to roll a car inside. I spent weeks throwing out treasures (some might call it junk), and only got mine to where the stuff was stacked up no higher than the level of my shirt pocket.

I'm located just outside of Atlanta. The car was actually in Michigan for the first couple years of its life, but it spent the majority of its time with my grandpa in South Carolina, far enough from the ocean to avoid salty air, and far enough south to avoid salty roads.

    And thanks, everyone!

My plans for the future, cosmetically, are to possibly source a 3-piece GT wing, either in matching white or painted matte black, maybe a small roof lip as well, and two or four rally-style fog lights mounted in front of the grille. I also hope to fabricate a skidplate, but that will have to wait until I'm living on my own and have room for better shop tools.
Mechanically, I want to upgrade the headers and exhaust and possibly do a rear disc brake swap. Ideally, I'd do a Mazda BP-T engine swap, but I've heard that virtually none of the mounts line up at all and it's just a pain. Plus, my 1.9 is running strong and there's no reason to replace it.
