Holy crap. That is one CLEAN looking GT. The body looks to be in AMAZING condition, same as the paint. Except for the rear passenger quarter panel.

That's gorgeous. Good work. Don't do something gay to the body please.
What'd you do to the engine while it was out?

thanks for the compliments. as for the body im not gonna do anything gy to it, so far i plan on shaving the door locks, rear hatch(mabey some custom taillights),roof rails. removing that stock spoiler and shaving those little holes too.i have a custom made gt grill waiting to go on the car, i am still debating on getting a bodykit but if not then i have a set of modified gt side skirts off a 92. i may also do a bit of a fender flare from something like a bmw 3 series, and cut ou rear quarters and have them replaced then have the wheel wells cut so that their round and not flat. The Engine was fully rebuilt with bigger wiseco pistons, port and polish job to the head, and performance cams. i already have a cold air intake and also a full header back exhaust, performance centerforce dual friction clutch and ss clutch line. i lowerred the car 1.5 inches and put on some konig verdict 17's, also bought som corksport clear corners. cross drilled and slotted rotors all around. soon to go on is an msn coilpack, new aluminum intake tubing, optima yellow top battery, and my bmw angel eye headlights. these are some of my plans to date.

Judging by what he's keeping off the parts car, I'm assuming new front and rear bumpers, the rear 1/4s are getting new metal (posted above), and I'm sure anything else thats showing rust will be taken care of.

The newer gt's (I believe 93-95) come with that spoiler, and not the 3 piece.

damg, that's nice, especially once you get some new rims on it's gonna be sweet. have you ever thought about doing something with the tail lights/ rear reflector?

    update:

as i mentioned before i am doing most of the bodywork myself so its going to take me quite some time to finish it but heres what i have started and a preview of what it is going to look like.

    custom made front bumper:

here's some pics of the modding i had to do to rear corners of the bumper:

    The frontend:

so far this is all i have worekd on. custom bumper, customi grill and bmw e36 angel eye headlights. i still have alot more work to do to the bumper to fit the headlights and smooth some lines out but most of the hard work is done. the front grill in the pic is kinda tilted back so it kinda looks weird but u get the idea.
