She's coming along well! Love the color in the engine bay too. Good choice on the fogs as well, they look at home in that lx bumper.

IMO, i just don't like the way the LX bumper shows everything under the car. my mazda 626 lip covers that up nicely. u can see that in my sig :D

Thanks guys, yea i started looking around for a MKIII lip recently with not too much luck but im in no rush...i cant stand how it shows everything either. Its been running lil funny after i did the head though so i bought a code reader off of amazon so hopefully itll be running better. And im aiming for megasquirt during tax return season

Removing the a/c and power steering wasnt too bad...i had bought the pony alternator bracket off a member here..it took a couple hours to remove the pump and compressor i was using haynes/chilton manual as a guide then i swapped the stock bracket with the pony bracket n idler pully bought a belt for a pony and it was good to go then i started taking out the a/c lines little by little then finally the condensor and accumulator. i still need to change over to a manual rack though

What year and engine did that bracket come off of? I want to do this to mine so bad. Did you notice any differenc in power and gas mileage? Or maybe could point me to someone who might have one for sell?

i did notice the front end get little lighter, revved up slightly quicker and it did move a little better..cant really comment on mileage as i think mine gets the worse mileage of them all (180-200miles per full tank) plus i kinda have a heavy foot

What engine did the bracket come off of? And have you had any problems with the change so far?

So the bracket came off of a 2nd gen escort 1.9l. That had no power steering or a/c? That might be hard to find for me. :(

Paint those rims up white and itll look fancy. And I'm still trying to figure out were you got that bracket. I think I'll have to go junk yard picking to get one. Unless anyone else knows an easier way to delete the power steering pump and or ac.
