Say, how did you run the wire through the headliner?

I just tucked the wire behind the headliner and then ran it down the drivers side a pillar.

Guess I will update this thread. Around April/May I picked up a 2004 MB E 320 and gave this car to my sister. Shortly after I gave it to her one of the front calipers started locking up, the pads needed to be changed and the egr valve needed to be replaced.

Well. The cars life as a whole is done for.

Rust just took its toll on the underside.

Rear trailing arms were rusted out which could cause the back wheels to flop around in the rear. Sub-frame in the rear was swiss cheese as well.

Ended life with around 86K on her at 24 years old.

Pulled some parts off of her to try and re-coupe some cash. Rarely seen Mercury Tracer three piece wing, strut tower braces (front and rear), Mazda dual lidded center console and the front and rear suspension tie bars.

It doesn't look that bad to me, especially for a salt belt car. I'd replace the trailing arms and keep driving it or sell it whole, it's tough to get money for Escort parts.

P.S. I'd like to see the early pictures, too bad Photobucket screwed us.

Yeah Honestly I am looking to sell them as a set (front and rear). Shipping will be a killer on these. Want to get them gone together.

Same goes for the front and rear tie bars.

Could not locate trailing arms. We tried. It was time unfortunately.

I attached some pics of the car in her prime.

Well it sure was a nice clean car. Funny to see the black instrument panel surround in an otherwise tan dash.
I suppose they only made that part in black.

Yeah I always thought that was weird too.

The center console I got for the car tied everything in nicely though.
