i´m guessing eibachs are pretty nice, but how do munroe springs compare? stiffer? poorer quality? availability is the same for me, i can get them both quite easily, but i´m wondering which would be better to go with for the price

Yes, they do handle a bit better, but, they are about the most uncomfortable things on the planet. I have em on my car and I can feel almost every pebble on the road. Can you imagine what pot holes are like? :-o Spend the extra dough and go with the eibachs.

Eibachs and ZX2 Tokicos are a wonderful mate. So wonderful in fact that Ford mated them up on the S/R. ;-) Another good combo is Sprint springs and ZX2 Tokicos. The Sprints give a little more drop than the Eibachs, but still handle and ride nice.

i´m getting eibach´s from an alberta company where my cousin works, just a bit less than eomfordparts after taxes / shipping. i´ll probably get tokico´s either from there or from my cousin´s work. thxs fer the link though!

oh, and how much would strut bearing be? would i need those for installing just the eibachs?

here´s my cousin´s work site:

Impressions Auto
and BTW, THEY HAVE 2nd GEN SCORT BODYKITS FOR SALE!!!!! i´ll post this in a new thread too.

I sell monroe stuff at work. Yeah the sensatrac stuff is nice, however, you really can´t beat Eibach when it comes to suspension. I would go Eiback all the way... if you cant go eibach, Tokico makes a nice strut for the Escort.

I think you´re going to be very happy. It´s neat feeling the way the progressive rate spring works and I´m impressed with the rebound control of the Tokicos. Feels like I´m strafing the road. But I blethered on enough about it in my review so I´ll stop now. Tell us what you think when you have them installed.
