msd 6A ignition box can anyone tell me how to hook this up in my car, i don´t have the directions and a wire to wire instuction would be nice if someone has already done this to a 91 escort gt 5 speed.

Go to www.msdignition.com and then click on "instruction download" All of the instructions are there in PDF format. The obvious though is that the big RED and big BLACK go to the battery. After that is where things get different. On mine the small BLACK went th Coil - and the ORANGE went to Coil +. Then the WHITE to Coil Plug - and the small RED to Coil Plug +. Since Second gen GTs have a different ignition system, there may be some other way to wire it.

Do the 2nd Gen GTs have an amplifier hooked to the coil? If so check out the instructions for General Import Wiring. If they don´t then it should be the same as Ford TFI (without harness)

i don´t think it´s amplifed but my under hood fuse box is right by my coil i called msd and they said the genral import but i´m still confused if any one with a second gen. 1.8 has a msd 6a ignition hook up please help me.
