Today I was behind a 88 - 91 Civic CX 3 door with stock steel wheels, some(lotsa) rust and no mods except a HUGE aluminum(no finish) adjustable wing on the roof. The kind with the skinny stands with holes drilled out. It was wider than the car and up over a foot. OMG it lookes so stupid. Some moronic high school punk with his dumbass cap on backward. What, was it his mom´s car? It even had a couple CAA stickers. I wish I had a digicam! You guys would die! :-W

Heh.. before I got the scort I was looking into a toyota previa s/c awd. I´d love nothing more than to pimp one out w/ coilovers rims and a body kit (no wing). Mid engined long wheelbase minivans are the quickest way to drive all your friends to the ski mtn ;-) Still.. I wouldn´t pile on the rice like some sort of family moving pilaf.

Brad... you saying that the honda was the little boxy 3 door hatch.. like the original Civic Si? And then he stuck a 12" high wing onto the roof?? HOLY CRAP what a moron! They make those that actually fit onto hatchbacks.. someone ought to tell him

Please forgive my ignorance.. what´s CAA? Canadian Auto Association? Like AAA in the US?? :-? :-]

You want rice? well get your spoon ready. I saw a Cavalier like 97 or so with a wing that was taller than the roof line and 16" black rims on it. it was ugly and more than likely still slow. About two weeks ago I saw an old Mercury cougar XR7 with an aluminum wing on it. GAG... :-|

That´s why I want a 1st gen RX-7 turbo... ugly as fuck but man they´ll r4p3z0r j0or aszZ0r f4573r th3n j0o c4n th1nkz0r

I think rice is more tolerable if you can justify it with the speed.

Take my mountain bike... the total and utter sleeper. 16" 1984 GT avalanche. Full steel construction, forged dropouts, the works... it was like a 600 dollar frame back in the day.

Anyway I brought it up from the dead one day to the local race and all my mtbing buddies were there and a few other n00blets and I managed to 0wnz0r and take 3rd place with it... beating all my friends... even one of my friends with a klein mantra comp race.

although in mountain biking it´s all rider and nothing to do with the bike. There´s this one old timer who races on some bike that´s fully rigid and looks like it was made in italy in 1962 and he still hands me my ass :D

ahem well I gotta get back to studying

Yeah, I wanted to turbo the 2.2L OHV 89 Dodge Dynasty I was driviing...but this summer I picked up a 78´ Honda motorcycle as a project. I´m thinking some sort of boost for that...hmmm maybe--then again, maybe not.

Well I do pretty well on my dualie 1998 cannondale raven 2000 too, but I just like bringing the old beater to the less competitive local races because of the nostalgia.

I used to have an F2000 CAAD3 cdale decked out with XTR components and a set of mavic 217´s (I think they were 217´s... the lightest, discontinued model that mavic´s ever made) and that thing flew... it weighed in at a slip 19.4 pounds and was super rigid. Man that won me races but beat the hell out of knees so I sold it and got a dualie...

I see someone mentioned the Previa.. We own a 94 Toyo Previa supercharged 2.4... it kinda hauls ass considering the powerplant, the weight, and the 4wd hardware. I like drifting on ice with it... gotta respect the RWD. :D

There are some crazy Previa tuners out there putting MR2 engines in them and stuff and swapping s/c pulleys to make more boost. From personal experience, I can tell you guys that this 2.4 is built like a brick shithouse. Ours has run for 245k miles of foot-to-the-floor driving (oh yeah, that´s all me) and just recently started to use a little oil. Still runs like the day we got it, except it could probably use a little refreshing on the supercharger. :p
