I read somewhere that the UK has strict rules about what you can and can't modify, and that it can be harder to modify your car there than it is here. DO a lot of people do it illegally?

If your getting rid of the altezzas, you can throw the Bently out with the bathwater, as far as im' concerned. those things are pure status syumbol. big, heavy, ugly and dumb.
