Mobile Mechanic Replaced Timing Belt - Now Car Keeps Dying & P0340 code. *Problem Solved*

the 'hotlines' are internal help desks. they can only autorize parts and labor under warranty. each dealer is its own entity, and still must get approval from their home base warranty clerks... so them telling you they will reimburse the dealer.. total BS

either way. the techs should be of a certain caliber, and you shouldnt be responsible for paying them to learn... thats the dealers job... if it took them 45 hrs.. then they eat that cost.

i didnt read through the entire thread, but typically po340 means that pcm has detected an error in the cam sensor... either the sensor its self, or a cam being a tooth or more off. since its a ford.. the code is extremely vague and doesnt help much. my assumption is the mobil guy screwed the timing up.
