Some people have custome fit m3 form civic.
you can run 1st gen protege the are a direct bolt up!
i am running 3rd gen painted to match mirriors. have to drill 2 new holes, and rewire! mine were wired for me!

i will get pics hopefully soon, since the car will be going buybye next week for a month or so!
i will try and find some.
but you have to drill 2 more holes, 3rd gen mirriors have 4 screw mounts to the 2nd gen 3 holes, the top 2 match the loweer 2 you have to drill. plus change the wiring! the plugs were diffretn!
dash should fit, since the stucture of the car is the same, just your vent tubes are a littel diffretn i would think! plus the door panles, where the dash comes to the doors, might have to do a littel custome work there!
