Has anyone attempted to use a miata supercharger kit on an escort? Just curious. I'm not sure about spacing a clearance but I would think that it could be an option given that some models used the same engine.

ripdotcom over at ERDT has a M45 on his second gen EGT. It's mounted where the A/C compressor goes, the Mazda Miata location will not fit in the Escort engine bay.

the miat has the air coming in from the front of the motor, or the thottle body is in the front. but a egt has it coming from the driver side, if you turn the miata engine to face the same way as a egt, the thrittle bodies are on oposite sides.

might work if yiu have the money and time to make it work.
but would be cheaper just to go turbo.
