3000GT VR4 I wish I had one...yeah but I´m happy with my Scort. I´ve done a 35 minute trip in 15 (10 on the highway, 5 thru the city). Yeah I know. doing 115 on the highway isn´t safe, but I only did it on the straight-aways

just as a statistic, how much worse does your gas mileage get as you go from 65 speed limit to... lets say 105mph?

I usually stay around 75-85mph but sometimes I´ll kick it with a group of audi´s and go 95 or so.

Am I the only one who thinks that holidays are a total bore. Well, I guess I shouldn´t say total, but theres something about all the stores being closed that really pisses me off. The foot and a half of snow outside doesn´t help either. Yesterday I may have very well destroyed the transmission in my Jetta. Oh, well Iat least it wasn´t my escort.

I´m spending this Xmas at home in Northern AZ...the car is busted and I haven´t gotten the new ECU yet, so I couldn´t visit my family in SoCal. I have to work tomorrow anyways....no lights, no tree, no gifts...it sucks.

siragan: my last tank of gas, when I did the 115 on the highway I made 18 MPG...but when I did no driving on the highway the week or so before that tank I only made 15 mpg. so the faster I go the better mileage I tend to get. it´s bass-ackwards, and it´s hard to explain.
