That's all. I'm of course talking about Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords Magazine. I picked up the August issue of MM&FF, they mentioned the Escort ONCE in the entire publication. You know what it was about? It was an add from http://www.procarparts.com who apparently sells altezza taillights for the 91-96 Escort. (which on a white car wouldn't look too bad)
The funny thing is they don't even have them listed on the website.

*sigh* maybe we should point MM&FF towards the 11.22 second Escort tearing up the tracks down in Florida? http://www.cardomain.com/id/gravy0019 Then every Escort owner on FEOA should write MM&FF a letter stating how we all Love our Escorts and then they might start to bring up enough interest by manufacturers to start creating custom products for our us. :D

I think it was Hot Rod who did an article about the worlds Fastest cars last month. it had a killer looking stang on the front. Anyway in one of the blurps about the Worlds Fastest cars they mentioned an Escort. It read something like this...

This car has 1100 horsepower, that is equal to 100 Ford Escorts....

I want an escort EXP..

From Car and Driver this past Feb. -
"Let's establish a little perspective. There was more to this than the glory of Car and Driver. Not only did this record seem attainable, but breaking it, from the point of view of sports-car faithful, could be perceived as a sort of public service. To paraphrase the Blues Brothers, we were on a mission from, well, maybe not God, but at least from the late speed-record specialist Sir Malcolm Campbell.
See, the record in question-157.805 mph-was set in 1987 by a Ford Escort EXP.

Remember the EXP? If you don't, you're not alone, because it was one of history's most eminently forgettable cars. So was its Mercury cousin, the LN7. These two-seat variants of the Ford Escort and Mercury Tracer materialized in April 1981. The LN7 dematerialized in 1983, but the Ford version persisted. There was a brief production hiatus in 1985, but a face-lifted edition reappeared in '86 as the Escort EXP and survived until '88. "
