MAF to Air Filter Adapter

If I bought this, how would it work exactly. Could I just run an intake tube to this, then run a k&N cone filter out the other side of the sensor or what?

what it does is it bolts to the sid eof the MAF that the air bos is on now and allows you ho hook up a round cone filter
