M3 mirrors

I wanted to know what you guys thought about how this would look. Making a set of M3 mirrors for your car. If you take a set of side markers and then take a dremmel and cut the hole out and silicone them in place. I have alot of mixxed reactions to them and I was wondering what you guys would think about them. Also I have a problem with the wiring of them. I want to use them as a turn signal and with the parking lights but when i wired them up it turned the parking light into a constent and the turn signal didn´t work at all. SO now i just have them wired up to the parking lights. it looks really good at night. Really different. So if anyone would know a way to by pass that please let me know.
