I've been asking around and have heard many things.

The question is: If I want to put 1in. lowering springs on my '99 lx sedan is it as easy as replacing springs and struts, or do I need to change more parts than that?

I know all about the bushings, bump stops, and other spring/strut related parts.
What I'm worried about are things like trailing arms, tie rods, cv joints, etc.

To summarize, IF I LOWER MY CAR DO ANY OTHER PARTS NEED TO BE REPLACED FOR THE CAR TO OPPERATE PROPERLY?

You shouldn't. I installed H&R sport springs a few months back and have had no problems. They lower an inch or two.

nope, just swap the struts and springs with aftermarket ones, and be sure to get the car aligned once you are done.
