Wish I coulda gone, guys. Woulda been fun.

Turns out to be a headgasket. It's not hurting compression at all, no coolant or water goin in the cylinders, but it's spitting a lot of oilout the back of the motor that's just pig-trailing down (where I couldn't see) and drippin from the tranny.

Still can't find my f*cking camera. I've even called my family out in Cali to see if they took it by mistake, when they left my place.

I got a new headgasket in, just OEM due to money, I wanted a thinner copper race gasket to up compression, but it's just not in the cards right now.

Turns out, while I had the car up on jacks locating the leak, I saw the inside tread of my tire being worn through the wires. Maybe it was blessing in disguise, this headgasket, 'cause that tire blowin' at 80mph on the way there or back, really woulda sucked.

Hope to make the next one.

as can be seen fromt he pics, my suspension is set a bit higher than before...I still have some work on the coils to get that set back...but I am in no rush to do that till I get the camber plates for the front...cause I was running through tires at an amazing rate from bad camber from being so low...and no I will no spend the short money on the offset strut mount bolts...I don't trust that they will hold up to my driving....so until I get the plates from Corksport, being that is the only place I have seen them...I will ride at close to stock height....just better cornering than stock :)

Very Nice sounds like you guys had fun. Cant wait to get myself back in Arkansas and back in the Car Scene. Even if I have to bring my Ranger. Hopefully that Festiva I have planned can be sourced and over the winter I will build one amazing ride for the next years meets. I will be back in October we should get together some time then. Mike do you have any suggestions on where to take my Ranger to get the Clutch slave cylinder and master cylinder replaced? I would do it myself but have heard horror stories of when bleeding goes wrong with these and having to start all over. Talk to you guys later. PEACE

hey man, no sweat, we will have many more meets in the future....it's cool if ya bring the Ranger again...it was cool last time :) also I am sure the Fastiva is going to be amazing...as far as the clutch and slave cylinder for the Ranger...man we can do that in a weekend at the craft shop...no worries man...we'll bleed it right on and have ya rollin...and save ya a ton of coin that can go to the Fastiva build

on the video...that is weet....although it looks like we're going slow...going up that hill I was pulling about 50-55 mph....:D

Sweet. Mike your the man. I would be down for doing that at that location. I did a clutch in a friends truck and it was the same setup that I have in mine. Since I will be saving soo much coin ill go ahead and get a new clutch and pilot bearing too. I might have to replace my hydraulic line that goes from the master down to the slave. Mine is all chewed up when the guy I sold it to put a new clutch in it. Oh man im getting excited again. Cant wait!!!!!!!! LOL Thanks again Mike.
