Awesome idea! No I didn't do that. My wife drove me and dropped me off and she left because had to be somewhere. She wouldn't wanted to have to deal with one or the other afterwards.

I'm told Ford did that for racing as it made the car faster on the racing scene. Aerodynamics I suppose.

To each their own :p on the aerodynamics issue.

But hey, got my pony back from the dealer today, after a flywheel TSB...they royally FUBAR'd a wheel. The fight to have them replace it should be interesting.

To each their own? The guys racing them will have a strong opinion on their own. The BOSSes are True race cars in and out. The race cars run the same aluminum block as my street car turning about the same rpms. And running the same components overall. The are very similar to the original BOSS 302s. Down play the car all you want. You'll change your mind when your in one.

I got to ride in Randy's 2012 Boss 302 today, and it is an AMAZING car. The exterior looks mean from all angles. The interior has a subtle style, not overdone, and performance seats do a great job of holding you in place. The exhaust sounds MEAN, like a race car... and the performance is over the top!

Randy showed me a little of what the new Boss can do, and it is definitely impressive. The accelleration was amazing, and it felt like the car wasn't even working hard. It's definitely not a car for a novice... It's pretty much a street legal race car.

The smile on my face lasted LONG after the ride :p

The last two statements sound wrong.

    I can't place it.

Oh wait! Riiiight. Man love rules :p

In all seriousness, I'd love to be a passenger in one of those cars, too. Very lucky man to afford it.

okay so let me start off with cars that influenced me from when i was younger.

    first off we have a 1969 chevy el camino that was my uncles;

and the beautiful 350 it had in it

until he drove it up north and the bottom of it rusted out back in 1993

My parents ended up owning two escorts while around 1991 and after.
The first one was a 1991 escort gt

Until me and my mom got in an accident in 1994. So then my dad comes home with this brand new 1994 escort gt.
only pic i have of it while it was still nice. (Note that these are pictures of real pictures). Then one day sometime in like 1999 my dad hit some teenage girl who ran a stop sign.
and then they got some crappy 1996 ford taurus which was a lemon.

Now on to cars I've owned since i could drive: first off I was given my grandads pickup which used to be my dads, and I've never loved another vehicle as much as this one.
1988 ford ranger xlt. I only got to own it for a month before it started having problems. First off the power steering pump went out, and we had it replaced. But not even two days after getting back from the shop, the transmission went. They tried looking for one everywhere and couldn't find one. And both my dad and grandad ended up giving this truck away.
So i eventually talked them into buying me another truck about a year later. And I got a 1991 ford ranger, 5speed, 4 banger. and this truck was slooooooooooowwww. I ended up trading it for a 1986 chevy c10, shortwide that had a chopped roof. omg i loved this truck because it looked so cool but the roof was held together with bondo. litterally. Sorry I dont have pics of these vehicles. I ended up owning this truck for a month and i traded it to a friend for a 1986 olds cutlass supreme.
this is the car ive done most work to. and ive owned it for almost 2 years. or around 2 years. it had the olds 307 in it, and i ended up putting a no cat straight pipe to a glasspack and i loved this car but it burned alot of oil. i ended up selling it for 900$ and with that i bought my escort lx.
That lime green civic is my girlfriends car. and we have done major work to this car. we ran into a ditch and messed up the front end. and my girlfriend pretty much replaced the whole front end and painted it to match the paint that was on the car. i have pictures of the rebuild somewhat but ill post them later if anyone is interested. and pardon my spelling and gramar. i was in a hurry to type this on the computer as i usually use my iphone.

Before I thought about it, was thinking like 'wow a human did THAT much damage the front end!?' and was wondering how badly she must've been injured, how fast he must've been going at impact. That type of indentation is unusual for a vehicle-on-vehicle collision.

Then I realized that you didn't mean that he literally hit the girl, but the girl's car. Must've impacted a corner of the other vehicle. (As far as I know pedestrians always have the right-of-way at stop-sign cross-walks.)

I'm in the process of buying a rust free 1969 Maverick. Yes, a 1969. Look that one up! It's rough but a good candidate for a restomod.
