Whats the switch for the lights right to the right of where you turn the headlights on. It looks like lights but the rays are at a 45 degree angle. I turn them on and nothing happens. Is it for fog lights or something. Its a 98 zx2

the switch for the fog lights is part of the headlight switch, it's a ring next to the part you turn to make the headlights go on. is that what you are referring to?

does your car have fog lights on it? or at least two big holes down low where they would go?

Yeah there is a spot for round ones. but nothing is there. Does this mean its easy to install some aftermarket ones? And yes that is what im referring too.

it's up to you, you can get stock ones and put it back to stock, or get aftermarket ones.

Well it doesnt seem anything was mounted in the spots. So im not sure if there ever was any. Ill look around and see if there are any wires down there that I could probably install some if there are some wires.

the plastic bracket that holds the lights in is very flimsy, and it doesn't take much to destroy them. the lights usually fare better, but if you don't have them then you don't have them.

Mine came with fog lights and one of them got knocked off by a snow bank last winter. From what I could see they never were worth a cupful of spit anyway.

They only worked when the headlights were on and that defeats the purpose.

OK well i see the mounts and such but no wires down there, Im thinking about putting some aftermarket ones in anyway, does anyone know if its difficult or not to install a pair.
