Nope I didn't take him...I actually lost. It's been a while since I lost, but it's good to know your cars limits. Didn't think I would win either. I did however stay on his rear bumper as he pulled out ahead of me. I raced him 4 times and he won everytime, and only once was he able to pull away from me pretty quickly....thanks to crappy shifting on my part.

00 V6 Mustang: 15.5 0-60 (I think it was either a 99 or 00 Mustang...it had twin tailpipes like a GT, but no GT markings don't forget his bling bling rims & dark blue paint *drool*)

He must have been off on his timing because there is no way I could keep up with a car that fast that close. Especially since all I've done is take off a few restrictors and throw 80 lbs of stereo stuff in my car. I dunno though...I still had my &$$ handed to me but it wasn't so overwhelmingly embarassing that I had to turn onto a side street and cry with my face in my hands.

Mustang? Did someone say V6 Mustang?

Good effort to ya for taking on the stang with your scort.

Now I will show off my new V6 Mustang. I bought it to supplement the Escort. Did the stang look something like this?

Sorry for the shameless self plug!

yep looked alot like that. The Mustang on the rear bumper was the same color as the bumper and he had large bling bling rims to replace the stock ones, no side decals, no hood scoop or fog lamps. He had twin tailpipes like a GT as well.
I do love that color. My favorite color is blue. any blue will do but I think I want to repaint my car in the WR Blue Pearl found on the WRX. Very good choice Sue...btw your link doesn't work, but I found my way through the site thanks to you using the same nickname
